The Bank Bar + Bistro is located in the bustling Central Business District of Singapore. Diners get to enjoy their meals on dark wood furnishings and brown leather seats in a relaxed environment. The restaurant offers a menu selection of premium steak, seafood, pasta, among others. Most importantly, The Bank Bar + Bistro has a separate playroom for your kids! The playroom has lots of toys and there is even a large television set. Good hygiene is observed too because you need to remove your footwear before entering the playroom.

If you love indulging in international buffet feasts but do not want to break the bank, Buffet Town is the place for you. Staying in the West? Don’t mind the strong BBQ smell? Or maybe you love to indulge in copious amounts of meat? If that’s the case, make your way to Ju Shin Jung at West Coast. This Korean restaurant is relatively out of the way as it’s located in the faraway West area. However, it serves delicious Korean BBQ food, and the staff is polite and helpful. More importantly, there is a large play area for children so you can indulge in sinful Korean BBQ without being distracted.

Modesto’s Vivo is conveniently located at the enormous shopping mall – Vivocity. This restaurant exudes an old world charm with its wood furnishings and leather chairs, complete with Greek/Renaissance bronze statues at various spots. Diners enjoy a variety of super delicious Italian food (Wood-Fired Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Premium Steaks) while overlooking the sea and Sentosa island. And yes, Modesto’s Vivo is family friendly too! There is a kids menu and the restaurant provides coloring sheets to keep your children occupied. 7. Peperoni Pizzeria at Greenwood Avenue (Bukit Timah)
Tried once and I’m hooked – these five words aptly describe my sentiments about this place that serves awesome pasta and wood fired pizzas. Aside from serving great food, there are also coloring sheets and crayons on the tables to keep children occupied. The restaurant interior is akin to a children Art Museum, with the walls covered in children’s paintings/doodles right up to the ceiling. The staff here is really helpful and nice too, and they are accustomed to helping families with children settle down comfortably.

8. PS.Cafe at Harding Road (Dempsey Hill)
The first time I stepped into PS Cafe at Harding Road (Dempsey Hill), I was captivated by the restaurant’s ambience. The soft lighting, relaxing music and unimpeded view of the lush greenery and vivid foliage makes this a great place for family gatherings and special occasions. The staff is quite helpful in helping to accommodate big families (setting up of toddler high chairs, etc). There is also a small lawn outside the restaurant where children can play and be closer to nature!

9. Seb’s Bistro and The Playhouse
An option for those staying in the West (nope, not Westgate or JEM). Seb’s Bistro (previously La Viva) at Rochester Park offers classy alfresco dining in a relaxed environment. The ambience is great and the food is delicious. Next to the restaurant is the famous Playhouse, housed in a separate colonial bungalow. The Playhouse interior was refurbished recently and it just re-opened three weeks ago. The bungalow houses two floors of play area that are filled with a multitude of toys, and the best thing of all is that there are child minders looking after your kids here! Therefore, adults can enjoy their dinner and drinks in peace knowing that their kids are playing under the watchful eye of the Playhouse staff. There is also an outdoor playground just outside the bungalow.

Supporters of local music will like this place. Timbre @ Gillman is located at Lock Road, near to Alexandra Road. Diners get to choose to choose from a huge variety of food including Pastas, Tapas, Thin Crust Pizzas, among others. There is also an expansive drinks menu. Families get to enjoy their meals at this charming restaurant overlooking the sprawling green field and vivid foliage. Timbre @ Gillman offers crayons and toys for children, and the surrounding large field is a great place for children to run about and have fun! (Do note that one side of the field slopes quite steeply downwards.)
