10 Awesome Wedding Photographers in Singapore!

In this article, we will list down ten of our favourite wedding photographers in Singapore. The photographers provide both pre-wedding and actual day (AD) wedding photography services. Personally, we felt that it was extremely important to choose a good wedding photographer so that he/she could capture our wedding moments in the most beautiful way possible. Therefore, we went through many wedding photographers’ portfolios, before finally deciding on Reddot Studio for our AD Videography, and Moomedia for our pre-wedding photoshoot. 1. Bobby Kiran

Bobby is a famous wedding photographer in Singapore who specializes in shooting beautiful pre-wedding and AD wedding photographs. However, his fees are quite high.

2. Kenny Choe Gallery

Kenny Choe Gallery is a new wedding photography company helmed by the talented Mr Kenny Choe. He is a veteran photographer who has a wealth of experience taking beautiful wedding photos and videos. The wife and I engaged him for our pre-wedding and wedding shoots when he was previously at Moomedia. He is a very nice, approachable and professional photographer. You will not regret choosing Kenny for your wedding shoot.

3. Chris Ling International Photographers

Chris Ling International Photographers consists of a team of many photographers and videographers. It collaborates with bridal boutique “Z Wedding” so you will enjoy their photography service if you sign a wedding package with the bridal shop. However, be prepared to pay a premium (SGD2000/hr) if you want to engage the personal service of Chris Ling.

4. Moomedia

After much research and consideration, we finally decided to go with Moomedia for our pre-wedding photoshoot. The studio is helmed by Andrew Mok who has been providing wedding photography services for over a decade. He leads a complete team of full-time photographers, videographers, and editors under him. Andrew enjoys traveling to exotic places to capture pictures and video footage of beautiful scenery. He has a large variety of equipment and is adept at using his drone to capture beautiful footage.

We went to Xinjiang for our pre-wedding photoshoot, and the pictures and video footage taken by Andrew and Kenny (his fellow photographer) were amazing! With regards to service, Andrew wasn’t very responsive to our messages sometimes. He only managed to finish editing our Xinjiang pre-wedding video on the day of our wedding, despite repeated chasers over a few days. I had to stay up through the night before my wedding chasing him on the changes required, and only managed to see the final product when it was played in the wedding ballroom. This was quite a distressing experience. Luckily the video turned out great. To an extent this was understandable; December is a popular period for weddings, and Andrew was very busy with back-to-back weddings during our wedding week.

We engaged Moomedia for our AD photography as well, and we were only able to collect the photos about 6 months later (after multiple chasers..). This was despite Andrew telling us at the start that it would only take 2 months.

If you are thinking of going to an exotic location for your wedding photoshoot, you should definitely consider engaging the services of Moomedia. We were very happy with how our prewedding photos and video turned out. However, my advice would be to inquire on his wedding schedule beforehand to avoid my experiences above. 5. Luvescape

Luvescape specializes in overseas wedding photoshoots. It was one of our favourite wedding photography studios because we really liked some of the photos on its website. The company is founded by Adrian Oh who has more than 10 international awards under his belt. We met up with Adrian in person for a discussion and he was very friendly and approachable.

Other than Moomedia, Luvescape is the only other studio we found that shoots beautiful pre-wedding videos. Adrian also specializes in using his drone to capture beautiful footages. His prices are extremely affordable too.

6. Unique-Colours Creative Media

Unique-Colours Creative Media is the sister company of Luvescape, and is led by Adrian too. It specializes in local AD and pre-wedding photoshoots. The prices are very affordable.

7. Multifolds

Multifolds is a very famous wedding photography studio in Singapore. They are flexible with their styles and will cater the wedding photos’ styles to the couple’s traits and personalities.

8. Reddot Studio (Closed)

Reddot Studio takes beautiful pre-wedding and AD photos. We were impressed by Reddot’s AD videos, and ultimately decided to engage them for our AD videography. We liaised with Yukee, who is an extremely nice and professional photographer/ videographer. After speaking to him, we felt reassured that our AD footage would be captured beautifully – and we were right! Yukee did a wonderful same-day-edit for us and we were very pleased with it.

Substance Films is one of the best wedding videography studios in Singapore, specializing in AD wedding videography. We were extremely impressed by their portfolio of amazing wedding videos. In fact, this was one of our final shortlisted videographer. It is headed by Yang, who has an extremely keen eye for capturing beautiful moments.
