5 Great Places to Eat in Chelsea Market (Manhattan, New York)!

One of our favourite places to eat in Manhattan New York is Chelsea Market! This large indoor food market is located in the Chelsea neighbourhood, and was recently purchased by Google for a staggering $2.4 billion. We had fun exploring the amazing variety of food here! Below are five of our favourite places to eat in Chelsea Market, arranged in alphabetical order.

1. Bar Suzette Creperie

We started off our Chelsea Market food tour with the sweet Nutella and Banana Crepe ($8) from Bar Suzette Creperie. The crepe tasted great (probably because it’s hard to go wrong with Nutella). The menu also offers a wide variety of other types of crepes.

2. C&P Galley

C&P Galley is a small restaurant offering New England style seafood dishes like lobster rolls and clam chowder. We ordered the Lobster Roll ($20.95), which tasted decent.

3. The Lobster Place

Our favourite food at Chelsea Market was hands down the 1.5 pound lobster ($23.95) from The Lobster Place! The whole lobster looked so tantalizing, and we couldn’t wait to start on it. We were not disappointed – the white meat was tender with a sweet and juicy flavour. We finished the entire lobster in a hurry. This is a MUST-TRY if you are visiting Chelsea Market!

4. Los Tacos No. 1

Los Tacos No.1 had a really long queue when we went, and I could understand why after tasting the Marinated Pork Tacos ($3.50) myself. The succulent pork meat was complimented nicely by the savoury sauce and Pico de Gallo. I simply loved the party of flavours in my mouth. At just $3.50, the tacos is an affordable and delicious treat!

5. Takumi Taco

Takumi offers Japanese-inspired Mexican tacos. We decided to order the Chipotle Shrimp Tacos ($4.82) and it was quite an enjoyable treat.
