These machines operate 24 hours daily and are located at all train stations. They accept both cash and credit cards. I bought my ticket one day in advance because I needed to catch a very early train the next day, and I didn’t want to risk missing it because I spent too much time at the ticket machine.

Step 1: Select Language, Departure and Destination Points

To buy a Swiss train ticket in advance, you need to press on “Later Departure”.
Step 3: Select Date and Time
I bought my ticket one day in advance, for travel date 13th April 2019.
Step 4: Select One-Way / Round Trip, Seat Class, Ticket Quantity, Make Payment
Step 5: Collect Your Ticket
