Gram Cafe & Pancakes Opens At CentralWorld Bangkok – One More Spot To Enjoy These Famous Japan Pancakes

Good news for Bangkok tourists, Gram Cafe & Pancakes has opened a new outlet at CentralWorld! This new branch is located on the seventh floor of the shopping mall. This article was last updated on 07 November 2019.

Gram Cafe & Pancakes

For those who are unaware, Gram Cafe & Pancakes is a famous pancake shop chain from Japan.

It is known for its Premium Pancakes, which is a wobbly stack of three 4cm thick pancakes, served with butter, whipped cream and maple syrup of course.

I tried these pancakes at the Siam Paragon outlet and they were indeed very delicious and satisfying. The pancakes were light and fluffy with a rich eggy fragrance.

Prior to the opening of the CentralWorld branch, Gram Cafe had two branches in Bangkok: the Siam Paragon branch opened in August 2018, while the Sam Sen branch opened in December 2018.

New Branch At CentralWorld Bangkok!

The third and latest Gram Cafe outlet is located on the 7th floor in the Atrium Zone of CentralWorld. It opened on 30 June 2019.

We visited this branch recently and found that it has a very different design from the Siam Paragon branch. Instead of a lush forest-themed design, it is a cozy open-air dining concept.

The cafe is currently quite popular. We visited in August 2019 on a Saturday at 3pm, and had to queue for about 30 minutes.

Premium Pancakes Chocolate Lava

In addition to the standard menu items, this branch also serves the Premium Pancakes Chocolate Lava (THB320). This item is exclusive to the CentralWorld outlet.

We decided to order this item, which took about 10 minutes to arrive.

As we cut open the fluffy chocolate pancakes, the chocolate lava oozed out tantalisingly.

The pancakes were definitely quite delicious, and it was very satisfying to eat them with the sweet flowing chocolate lava.

However, it didn’t really blow me away. I wished the flavours were richer, but perhaps my expectations were too high.

Premium To Go Chocolate

This outlet also sells the exclusive Premium To Go Chocolate (THB90), a fluffy pancake filled with luscious chocolate cream.

Conclusion

CentralWorld is one of the most popular shopping malls in Bangkok, so it is definitely a convenient place to drop by and check out the delicious pancakes from Gram Cafe & Pancakes. I recommend going during non peak hours to avoid the queue.
