10 Awesome Stalls At Platinum Fashion Mall Food Court (Bangkok)!

Most tourists visiting Bangkok will usually check out Platinum Fashion Mall, a six-storey shopping mall where you can find a dizzying variety of clothes, fashion accessories,  bags, and more. There is also a large food court located on the sixth floor of Platinum Mall 2. I like eating at this food court because the food is delicious and affordable. It is air-conditioned too. Below are ten awesome food stalls at Platinum Fashion Mall food court. This article was last updated on 19 September 2019.

1. TomYumKung Signature (P2)

This stall sells a variety of Tom Yum Soup dishes such as Seafood Tom Yum (THB 140), Chicken Tom Yum (THB 60), Prawn Tom Yum (THB 125), etc. There is Thai Omelet Rice (THB 35) too.

2. Noodle Soup With Stewed Duck (P9)

This is one of my favourite stalls in Platinum Fashion Mall food court. I will usually order the Noodle Soup With Stewed Duck (THB 65). The soup is savoury but not too salty, and the noodles are springy with great bite. The stewed duck slices are juicy and tender. I will also add some Thai condiments like sugar, chilli flakes, etc to enhance the flavours. On the whole this is a very delicious and satisfying dish.

This stall (with a somewhat unique name) serves a variety of Thai style dishes such as Basil Fried Minced Pork with Rice (THB 75), Tom Yum Kung (THB 140), Thai Sausage Fried Rice (THB 75), and more.

4. HK Express (P19)

This stall serves a variety of Hong Kong style dishes such as BBQ Pork with Rice (THB 65), Chicken Soy Sauce with Rice (THB 65), Wanton with Noodle (THB 70), and more.

5. Indian Food (P20)

This stall sells a variety of tantalising Indian appetisers, Yogurt, Curries (Chicken, Fish, Lamb, Vegetable), Biryanis, Rice Dishes, and Indian Breads!

6. Hainanese Chicken Rice (P21)

I found this stall’s Chicken-Flavour Rice with Chicken (THB 55) to be quite delicious (don’t be confused by the long name, it’s just chicken rice). The chicken meat was tender and quite juicy. The rice was savoury and aromatic, with a pleasant grainy texture that was neither too wet nor dry. The stall also sells fried chicken and soup with pork.

7. Stewed Pork Leg (P23)

I was having a craving for pork trotter rice so I decided to visit this stall. The menu offers a variety of BBQ Pork, Roast Pork, Stewed Pork, and Shrimp Wonton dishes. I ordered the Stewed Pork Leg + Crispy Pork Over Rice (THB100), and it was pretty good! The pork trotter was really juicy and tender, and the roast pork was decent but not fantastic. I added Thai condiments to further enhance the flavours. While the dish did not taste as outstanding as those at other famous pork trotter restaurants, it was still quite delicious for food court standard.

8. Desserts (F8)

After your meal, you can visit this stall for Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango (THB 120), Gingko Nuts in Syrup (THB 60), and other sweet desserts.

9. Cha Tra Mue

Cha Tra Mue is a famous Thai tea brand in Thailand. The name literally translates to “Number One Brand”. I ordered their signature Thai Tea (THB40), which was basically milk tea served with crushed ice. It was extremely sweet and milky with a silky smooth texture. I especially like how the drink had managed to retain a rich and aromatic tea fragrance. It’s no wonder this Thai tea is so popular in Bangkok.

10. Tiger Sugar

Tiger Sugar (老虎堂 ) is a popular Taiwanese bubble tea chain famous for its brown sugar milk drinks. Now you can find it at Platinum Mall too!

Do note that the food court in Platinum Fashion Mall is cashless, so you will need to buy a stored value card from the counter. Don’t worry if you are unable to finish using the amount in the card, because the stored value is fully refundable.
