7 TEA Cafe 台灣茶飲小舖 – Delicious Bubble Teas From Just $1.50, At Taman Jurong Food Centre
7 TEA Café 台灣茶飲小舖 is a small bubble tea stall located on the third floor of Taman Jurong Food Centre. Their bubble teas are affordable, starting from just $1.50. This is probably the cheapest in Singapore! This article was last updated on 11 August 2020.

People living around the food centre will be familiar with this stall, because it has been open for almost 10 years.
Other than the Taman Jurong branch, the stall also has two other new outlets located at Bukit Batok and Tampines.
Based on what I heard, this bubble tea chain is owned by a middle-aged Taiwanese couple.
Menu (click to enlarge)
The menu is impressive for a small stall – it offers a variety of Milk Tea, Yakult Green Tea, Chewing Tea (drinks with pearls or other toppings), Taiwan Tea (Green Tea, Oolong, Black Tea, etc) and Iced Coffee (latte, cappuccino, mocha, etc).
Note that the drinks only come in large size.
They have a wide variety of toppings available:
- Pearl ($0.30)
- Ai-Yu Jelly ($0.30)
- Coconut Jelly ($0.30)
- Grass Jelly ($0.30)
- Pudding ($0.30)
- Coffee Jelly ($0.30)
- Red Beans ($0.30)
- Aloe Vera ($0.30)
- Ice Cream ($0.50)
- Konjac Jelly ($0.60)
If you can’t decide what to order, some of their recommended drinks include:
- Bubble Milk Tea ($2.50)
- Passion Fruit Ai-Yu QQ ($2.50)
- Hazelnut Milk Tea ($2.50)
- 3Gems Milk Tea (with pearls, pudding & grass jelly, $2.50)
- Plum Green Tea ($2.50)
- Green Milk Tea ($2.20)
You can customise the sugar and ice levels. Note that there will be an additional charge of $0.50 if you request for no ice.
The staff here was quite friendly. After ordering, I waited for my queue number to show on their digital display board.
Update 11 August 2020: this is the menu of some of their new drinks.
Bubble Milk Tea (Must Try)
As it was my first time here, I ordered the standard Bubble Milk Tea ($2.50), with 30% sugar level and less ice.
To my surprise, it was actually quite good! The milk tea was smooth and creamy, and the pearls were really chewy and sweet.
I was glad that it did not taste bland and thin like some other low quality bubble teas.
While it did not taste as good as bubble teas from KOI or LiHO, it was really good value for money.
Passion Fruit Ai-Yu QQ
On a separate visit, I tried the Passion Fruit Ai-Yu QQ ($2.50). The staff told me that the drink isn’t very sour, so I decided to request for just 30% sugar level.
The drink was a pleasant blend of sweet and sour. It came with generous amounts of slippery-soft aiyu jelly, which always go perfect with sour drinks.
The chunks of coconut jelly added extra mouthfeel. The pearls were good as usual – very chewy and sweet.
They use passion fruit syrup to make the drink, but overall it was still a very pleasant bubble tea drink.
Plum Green Tea
The Plum Green Tea ($2.50) had a rich piquant plum flavour which I enjoyed. For the price this was really worth it.
Oolong Milk Tea
The Oolong Milk Tea with Pearl ($2.50) had a nice oolong aroma, but I felt that it was slightly bitter with 30% sugar level. Next time I’ll go for 50% sugar instead.
Conclusion
I am glad to have discovered 7 TEA Cafe 台灣茶飲小舖 at Taman Jurong Food Centre. This humble stall serves quality bubble teas at affordable prices. I’ll be going back again soon to check out their other popular drinks like the Hazelnut Milk Tea, 3Gems Milk Tea, and Green Milk Tea. Try to go earlier because their toppings run out quite fast.
