“Premium To Go” – New Cream Souffle Pancakes From Gram Cafe S’pore, Islandwide Delivery Available

Recently, other than the trending Haichijia Suan La Fen, you might also have seen quite a number of people ordering Gram Cafe & Pancakes’ new “Premium To Go” pancakes.

Gram Cafe & Pancakes is a famous pancake shop chain that was founded in Japan in 2014. The store opened a branch in Singapore last year to much fanfare. For this period, the Singapore branch has come up with a new delivery menu.

The most popular item on the menu is the Premium To Go pancake set ($16.90), which consists of four pancake sandwiches, each with a layer of fresh cream.

There are four standard cream flavours: Chocolate, Strawberry, Matcha, and Vanilla. It is not possible to choose the flavours.

These pancake sandwiches are best enjoyed chilled. They need to be consumed within 24 hours upon receiving.

Other items on the delivery menu are the Mixed Berries Pancakes ($15.90), Sausage & Scrambled Eggs Pancakes ($19.90), and PCB Pancake Burger ($14.90).

The “PCB Pancake Burger” (yes I know, interesting name) consists of a black angus beef patty, sunny-side up egg, and cheddar cheese sandwiched between two pancakes.

Premium To Go Pancakes

My Premium To Go pancakes ($16.90) came in a nifty rectangular box, which has a handle for easy carrying.

The pancakes were not as “wobbly” as their in-store souffle pancakes, but were still quite soft and bouncy.

I enjoyed the cream’s smooth and luscious texture.

My favourite flavour was definitely chocolate, which was very rich and fragrant. The matcha cream had a pleasant earthy flavour and did not taste chalky. The strawberry was sweet with a tangy hint. As for the cream flavour, I felt it was slightly bland.

Remember to chill these pancake sandwiches before eating.

Note that the Premium To Go pancakes are really popular at the moment. You will need to wait at least one week for both delivery and self-collection.

Conclusion

Gram Cafe & Pancakes Singapore has such a wide delivery time frame (2pm to 9pm) because they are currently using their own freelance car drivers. Their pancakes are too fragile to be transported by the motorbike riders of major food delivery services like GrabFood, Foodpanda, etc. They are still working on improving their operations. Therefore, I do not recommend ordering their hot pancakes for delivery if you want it for specific meal times. Instead, you can just check out their tasty Premium To Go pancakes.
