I’m not sure about you, but I always find it really satisfying to eat soft white bread with curry chicken. I guess that is why I really enjoyed the Neo Garden Curry Bomb.

The Curry Bomb is basically a huge fluffy bread bun wrapped around Neo Garden’s signature curry chicken. It serves three to four pax.

In case you’re unaware, Neo Garden is a well-known buffet caterer in Singapore.

The Curry Bomb’s Chinese name is “金宝藏”, which literally means “Hidden Gold Treasure”. Now that’s one auspicious name!

Neo Garden Curry Bomb

The Curry Bomb came in a colourful box containing the bun, curry chicken, plastic gloves and utensils.

The recommended way to eat this dish is to wear the gloves and tear apart the bun from the top.

The huge bun was soft and fluffy, perfect for dipping in the curry. I liked that the skin had a slight buttery texture.

The curry was very creamy with a rich coconut fragrance that didn’t feel overwhelming. The chicken pieces were fresh, tender and juicy. The potatoes tasted decent but I would have preferred them to be softer.

If you enjoy eating bread with chicken curry, Neo Garden Curry Bomb is a must-try. It was a really satisfying treat!
