The Soy Inc – Cafe Serves Healthy Soy Milk, Soy Pudding, & Soy PudDrinks

The Soy Inc is a small cafe at Jurong Point that sells soya bean related food and drinks. The space was previously occupied by Xiao Ban Soya Singapore.

My guess is that Xiao Ban underwent a rebranding campaign, changing their name and adding some new items to the menu.

Their soy drinks are lactose free and made with organic soy beans, without any preservatives or artificial colouring added.

Besides the Jurong Point outlet, The Soy Inc also have branches at Upper Paya Lebar, Jurong East Bus Interchange, and Grantral Mall (Clementi).

The three main items on their menu are Soy Milk, Soy Pudding (beancurd), and Soy PudDrinks.

If it’s your first time visiting, you should check out their signature Soy PudDrink ($3.10), which is a combination of soy milk and beancurd. It comes in five flavours:

• Belgium Dark Choco
• Matcha
• Milk Coffee
• Teh
• Grass Jelly

The menu also offers muah chee ($2.60), soya gelato ($3.30), and waffles (from $1.60).

The Matcha PudDrink ($3.10) was delicious! I liked how the rich matcha fragrance spread throughout my mouth the instant I took a sip. The matcha flavour also went really well with the smooth and silky beancurd.

The Belgium Dark Choco PudDrink ($3.10) was rich and sweet, but I felt that the chocolate flavour didn’t really complement the beancurd that well.

Islandwide Delivery

The Soy Inc offers islandwide delivery fee for a flat fee of $5.90. A minimum order of $9 applies, and you get to enjoy free delivery for orders above $30. Order via www.thesoyinc.com.

Personally I feel that their delivery fee and minimum order amount are really reasonable, especially when compared to other drinks / bubble tea shops in Singapore.

With bubble tea shops popping up every other day in Singapore, I think it’s good that we have something different to try. Soy is known to have plenty of health benefits, and is a good source of protein too.
