Harvey Norman Millenia Walk – Amazing Superstore for Home Products!
During our renovation, we enjoyed visiting Harvey Norman Millenia Walk, which is a huge three-storey superstore that sells an amazing variety of home products such as kitchen appliances, electronics, home appliances, furniture and more. You can check out our home appliances buying guide here.
Beautiful Showroom and Great Service
The showroom is extremely spacious with a beautiful interior design. It was really an enjoyable experience to walk around and browse through the myriad of items on sale.
And we were also pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service we encountered here. The main reason why we visited this Harvey Norman branch was to purchase our household appliances: Hood, Hob, Oven, Washer, Dryer, Fridge, and Television. As this was the first time we were making such purchases, we were quite overwhelmed by the number of choices here. Luckily, the Harvey Norman sales staff we encountered were all very polite and professional, and didn’t change their attitudes at all when we told them we needed more time to think. This was the main reason why we decided to buy all our major appliances from here!
In contrast, the salespeople at other major retailers would usually try to hard sell us, and would become rude or aggressive if we rejected their advances. One example would be Mega Discount Store (Kallang Leisure Park). The staff here were extremely aggressive. It felt like their main goal was to close the sale on the spot, regardless of whether the products were suitable for us. One of the staff literally followed us around the shop for 10 minutes after we told him we didn’t want to buy the washer-dryer he was promoting. When we told him that we were uncomfortable with him tailing us, he gave the reason that his boss needed him to “take good care of customers”. #Creepy
Great Prices
Harvey Norman Millenia Walk offers really attractive prices for their appliances. Compared to other major retailers, the prices here were one of the lowest. In addition, like many other shops, Harvey Norman has the “price-matching” scheme; this means that after our purchase, if we managed to find another shop selling the same items at a lower price, they would be able to match the price.
Our Purchases
In the end, we decided to buy our hood, hob, oven, television, washer, and dryer from Harvey Norman Millenia Walk. The main reasons why we chose to buy from here were because of the wonderful service and great prices. The staff who served us were David (hood, hob, oven, washer, and dryer) and Judy ( television). I highly recommend that you look for both of them if you are looking to buy your appliances from Harvey Norman.
Extended Warranties
We were recommended extended warranties, but after some thought we decided to buy it for our induction hob only. This is because we were not sure if the extended warranties would be worth the money.
Conclusion
On the whole, it was a great experience buying our home appliances from Harvey Norman Millenia Walk. The showroom was really beautiful and spacious with a huge variety of items. Harvey Norman staff David and Judy provided us with great service. There were no issues with delivery too.

I have shipped quite often from Harvey Norman but always on cash and carry and branded electronics. It has been alright shopping there. However, recent purchase of their in-house furniture was a bad experience. Chair was sold to me without checking that that they don’t have stock and I waited for 3 months for the chairs to come. Delivery schedule was messed up on the first trip and the second trip causing me troubles in rearranging my schedule. Customer service is rude on phone; argued with me. Second batch of chair is faulty. I tried moving the table to get in and realised that it’s not as sturdy as showroom displayed. That’s a $3000+ dinning set after discount. I later found out it’s made in Vietnam. It’s my biggest regret to purchase this set from Harvey Norman.
Think Harvey Norman is better for purchase of electronics and branded products.
Hi Rebecca, I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience. Did you buy from the Harvey Norman Millenia outlet?
