Marutama Ramen at Clark Quay Central
Some of my friends claim that Marutama Ramen serves the “best Ramen in Singapore”. Even though we don’t think it’s the “best”, Raevian and I enjoyed eating here. The price is reasonable, and service is good and consistent as well. After finishing the meal, I am now in a post-8-Korean-BBQ-stupor. We certainly do not regret coming here for dinner. Personally, I feel the buffet at The Magic of ChongQing Hot Pot is reasonably priced for the wide food range and superior quality. The service is generally decent but when the restaurant is fully packed, the staff might get busy and forget your orders. Otherwise, they are generally prompt and courteous. Read more

This was a very filling dinner. The five plates of food below found their way into our two little stomachs within just twenty minutes. Other than the rice and miso soup that turned cold even before the main dishes had been served, and given that we were dining in a food court at an affordable price, we felt that their service and quality of food were generally acceptable. The interior décor is a mixture of rustic and eclectic elements. There are many interesting art pieces and memorabilia. The dim lights in the café gave it a comfortable and homely ambience.
